The Student Welfare and Personal Development Association was established in 1983 (as the Personal Development Association) to support student welfare and the teaching of Personal Development in New South Wales schools. It is a non-denominational organisation to which any interested person can belong (teachers, counsellors, parents, community workers, nurses etc.)
